Bring in the Wine Li Bai Do you not see the Yellow River come from the sky,Rushing into the sea and ne’er come back?Do you not see the mirrors bright in chambers high,Grieve o’er your snow-white hair though once it was black? When hopes are won, oh! Drink your fill in high delight,And never leave your wine-cup empty in moonlight!Heaven has made us talents, we’re not made in vain.A thousand gold coins spent, more will turn up again. Kill a cow, cook sheep, let us make merry,We shall drink three hundred cups at one time! Master Cen, Mr. Dan,Bring in the wine! Let your cups never rest!Let me sing you a song, let your ears attend! Bell and drum and feasts of fine food are not worth praise;I only seek to be drunk all my days.Sages and saints of old are all forgotten,Only great drinkers leave their names unforgotten. Once, when Prince Chen feasted in Ping-le Hall,Ten thousand cups of wine he drank in one day’s brawl.Why say my purse is empty?Go buy more wine and we’ll drink together free! My horse worth a thousand taels,My fur coat worth ten thousand taels,Call the boy to sell them both for wine,That we may drown eternal sorrow in wine!

君不见黄河之水天上来，奔流到海不复回。君不见高堂明镜悲白发，朝如青丝暮成雪。人生得意须尽欢，莫使金樽空对月。天生我材必有用，千金散尽还复来。烹羊宰牛且为乐，会须一饮三百杯。 岑夫子，丹丘生，将进酒，杯莫停。与君歌一曲，请君为我倾耳听。 钟鼓馔玉不足贵，但愿长醉不复醒。古来圣贤皆寂寞，惟有饮者留其名。陈王昔时宴平乐，斗酒十千恣欢谑。主人何为言少钱，径须沽取对君酌。 五花马、千金裘，呼儿将出换美酒，与尔同销万古愁。
